We are open to the public every Friday night, except for the months of June, July, and August, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Admission is free on these evenings. We do not follow a fixed program so you can walk in whenever you want. However, it is possible that a presentation is already in progress, please take a seat quietly.
In good weather, the dome opens, allowing you to observe the sky through our telescopes. Through our telescope you can observe planets, star clusters, nebulae, and, of course, the moon. Each season offers something different!
During cloudy or rainy weather, we keep our dome closed because there is nothing to see through our telescopes. Additionally, for safety reasons, our dome must remain closed during strong winds (greater than wind force 5) or unpredictable weather.
Regardless of the weather, we offer a presentation about the universe on every open evening. We are happy to share any important astronomical news during these presentations. Naturally, we are ready to answer your questions regarding astronomy. We are also delighted to provide information about other activities at our observatory, such as the Basic Astronomy Course, lectures, or youth education.
In our hall, there is a changing exhibition and a shop where we sell books, photos, and star maps.
