ANBI Non Profit

Volkssterrenwacht Copernicus is a Non Profit organization that has been recognized by the Tax Authorities as an "Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling" (ANBI), which translates to a Public Benefit Organization. This means that:

• We have no profit motive.

• Our financial administration is in order.

• We publish our annual report on our website.

• We have a solid policy plan.

Through this transparency, we guarantee that your donation will be used for the purposes we promise.

In addition, you can claim your donation as a deduction on your Income Tax return. Companies that provide services to us but do not invoice us for those services can deduct the value of those services for Corporate Tax purposes. Furthermore, bequests are exempt from taxes.

Conditions

• You donate the same amount each year.

• You commit to making this donation for at least 5 years.

• You specify that the donation will cease upon your death or the death of another person, such as a family member or partner.

At the bottom of this page you will find the form Overeenkomst Periodieke gift in geld. We ask you to fill this form and send it with your donor registration in the mail to penningmeester@sterrenwachtcopernicus.nl. Don't forget to include the following information in the mail:

• Name, address, and place of residence

• Email address

• Phone number

We will handle the administration from there.
